I am passionate about applying psychology to improve the human condition at work. I have enjoyed over 25 years’ experience of addressing complex people problems across a variety of organisational settings.

Prior to setting up my own practice in 2008, I held positions as:

  • Principal Occupational Psychologist with a large public sector employer in N. Ireland (10,000 + staff)
  • Associate Director of the MSc in Occupational Psychology at the Queen’s University of Belfast
  • Consultant with Saville and Holdsworth (Irl) Ltd, a global HR consultancy firm and leading psychometric test publisher
  • Occupational Psychologist with the UK Employment Service (45,000 staff)

I am a Chartered Psychologist with the British Psychological Society, a Registered Occupational Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council, and an affiliate member of the Association for Coaching.

I partner with a small number of trusted colleagues on large-scale assignments or when there is a need for complementary skills.

My academic credentials include three degrees in Psychology including a First Class Honours Degree in Psychology from the Queen’s University of Belfast (1991) and Masters and Professional Doctorate degrees in Occupational Psychology (in 1992 and 2007 respectively).
